Any Vulcan mates out there got a good photo of XM572? We did a bit of 'gardening' with it in '76 at Scampton at night, in rain & fog. We went off runway on landing and across grass. Blew door down to get out. Need it to illustrate the story. I can give my e-mail. Thanks.

Ex Teamwork 1980. We were on detachment, 50 Sqn, north of the Arctic Circle at RNAF Bodo. Got my very first parking ticket there. Those traffic wardens are everywhere!

.Rishi Sunak will you make or break care? Older people and their carers need better care *now* not in 3+ years' time. Show them you care, give councils decent funding on 27th Oct. Without this care reform will fail. #SocialCareCantWait #DoesRishiReallyCare

Now Russia have banned most of the Cabinet from visiting are they going to ban us ex V-Force aircrew? I was always ready to visit at 300ft to 500ft in the Cold War.

Mexican Stand Off and Barking Mad! My Chihuahua 'Ludo' and a Muntjac, who was fascinated by his size, who had the audacity to look into my garden . Both ended up barking at each other.

John Anthony Wood 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇦 Interesting. I first flew XH558 after Valiants on 30 July 1965 at 230 OCU. Last flew it as tanker 50Sqn on 12 Jan 1984. Refuelled Jaguar that broke our basket and I had to jettison 48,000lbs of fuel!

Just had a Hog Roast party in my garden for over fifty friends. The Vulcan, I having flown 75 different registration numbers in over 20 years in the V-Force, until the last month of its operating life in the RAF in March 1984, certainly had to feature.

Thank goodness Ellie a non professional dancer won Strictly last night. The West End professional dancer, competing against her and the others, should never have been entered in what is a non professional dance entertainment programme. Just another bad decision by the BBC.

Some years ago Tony Blackman asked me to help him write stories in Vulcan Boys and then co-author Valiant Boys and V-Force Boys with him. I can't repay him enough for those experiences and will never forget our touring the air shows with John Davies. Sadly missed.
