This analysis is a fiction from the Times. We looked at analysis by political party recently and decided the variables were to great to make a meaningful comparison. This doesn't take into account deprivation, urban-rural, age, funding reductions and so on.

10 years ago today we packed all the light sabres and robes and went to Florida to fight in the Jedi Training Academy. Elder boy had just seen Star Wars when cancer first hit him. Those stories served us all well through 4 years of treatment. Funny what a good story can do.

Another problem with this question is that it treats political devolution as a discreet period beginning in 1999. That ignores legal, education and religious 'devolution' from 1707 but also substantial administrative devolution through the Scottish Office in the 20th century.
