Andrew Hesselden The Government are only funding Additional Roles (ARRS) & telephones Whilst cutting GP funding by 20% £/patient in real terms since 2016 The result is fewer GPs, GP leaving or unemployed Remember the Govt promised 6000 more GPs in 2019 manifesto - instead we have 2000 fewer
I spoke to Times Radio this morning If Wes Streeting wants quick productivity results he should fund community care & GPs There are potentially 3000 GPs (WTE) available now to work if the funding was made available Plus Nurses & other community teams DAUK GP Committee
