This is the way. We know AI will help great engineers work 100x faster, but can you help someone who has no experience accelerate their learning while actually building cool things.

There is so much noise on X. X is the greatest platform, a single post can change your life. However, when you attempt to get actual news or non-hype info, it's incredible difficult. There has to be a way Elon you can mark posts as education vs slop.

If AI advances exponentially but PhD programs still take 4-6 years, we're essentially training for problems that may not exist by graduation. The question isn't 'what niche should I pick but how do we redesign learning?

Alcohol use has precipitously declined, BUT marijuana usage has increased. It's clear that the same way smoking cigarettes became taboo, alcohol will soon be just as bad. I bet within the next 20 years, we'll find out that marijuana negatively affects people's health.

Protein is the new mediterranean diet. Every 10 years we fall for some new nutrition "science" and what makes it even more alarming it's coming from one of the unhealthiest country in the world. Everything in moderation.

It makes absolutely no sense that I have to go to a - medication app to track my medications - an acute care app, to manage my condition - a EHR app to get my data. No wonder healthcare is so tedious.

The most unscientific thing anyone can say: "Trust the science." Science is inherently distrustful. It assumes everything could be wrong until proven otherwise. So when someone says “trust the science,” they’re committing a logical contradiction. You don’t trust science, you

I had the honor of remembering and celebrating our friend Atul Butte today at a special symposium at the AGBT Meeting Precision Health meeting in San Diego. I shared the stage with superstars Christopher A. Longhurst, MD , Marina Sirota, Lucila Ohno-Machado, and Bimal Chaudari.

The 'AI should just handle the admin' takes are so endearing. It has that distinct 1900s energy of agreeing the automobile is useful, but primarily as a way to carry extra hay so the horse doesn't get as tired. AI doctors are here. Like cars they will get better and faster.
