#BREAKING Every national forest in Washington and Oregon — covering 24 million acres — will close recreation sites in coming days, including trails, campgrounds, sno-parks, et. It's the most sweeping move yet to limit the spread of #coronavirus in PNW. statesmanjournal.com/story/news/202…

At the corner of NE Shaver & MLK, a VW Gold lunged into the crowd. It was pummeled & pursued in reverse down shaver and stopped. After an altercation I couldn’t see, roared south. I heard two loud pops, people ran, then it raced back north through intersection & hit skateboarder

It's deeply frustrating to see front pages like this come out of the events of the past week — three photos, three cities, three white male photographers. Photo editors, please consider just how important it is to be hiring Black photographers always, but especially right now.

Why use a photo taken at a completely separate and peaceful event in Bend, Oregon where no one was arrested to illustrate this story?

The destruction in Mill City and Gates from #BeachieCreekFire is breathtaking. Things are still burning, people are coming back to look for lost pets and survey the damage.

I went up the McKenzie River today with Oregon Forestry to survey the damage from the 145,000 acre #HolidayFarmFire. Significant loss of structures and forest lands but I was happy to see the Goodpasture Bridge standing. The Register-Guard #wildfires Gallery: bit.ly/3bK7hP5
