I was deeply disappointed that the government missed this opportunity today to address the #jointenterprise miscarriage of justice. It was clear from the debate that there is cross-party consensus that #jointenterprise is flawed.

The next Government needs to address this very serious issue and make it a priority.

One of the biggest issues in sentencing is those secondary parties recite same or more than the actual principles in #JointEnterprise convictions. This is often used to drag in as many people as possible including those merely present. JENGbA have been saying this for years.
