Surprised to report that I achieved the maximum of seven wins in what was my first ever Eternal Card Game draft tonight. I highly suspect that this would qualify as a pile, to experienced players. The splash for Shadow was loose and unnecessary, but somehow it still got there.
Tonight's 7-1 Eternal Card Game Draft deck. Stonecrag Aggro Midrange with a Tasbu for grinding out games that weren't won in the first 4-8 turns. The only loss was to a deck with tons of Warp synergy that outcarded me hard and kept me from dealing the last few points of damage.
Everything's comin' up Milhouse! Back to back seven win Eternal Card Game drafts tonight. This time it was with what felt like a decidedly mediocre Rakano deck. Got utterly crushed by Diamond drafters in my two losses. Happy to have finished 7-2 with this pile.
There was a failed draft after the other two, but my fourth and final Eternal Card Game draft of the night was my third seven win outing of the evening. This time I had a dodgy FTJ pile that leveraged Kimi and a pair of Warhawks to get most of its wins. Another 7-2 result.
Tonight's 7-win Eternal Card Game Draft deck, and my first undefeated run in Draft. Combrei Midrange with a Shadow splash, that I felt there was enough support for. This got me halfway through Diamond, but not sure that I could make Masters before the reset.
7-2 Rakano Weapon/Armor synergy Draft deck for my second max wins Eternal Card Game draft of the night. Trying to see if I can barely squeak into Masters in the next draft, before time runs out. π€π€π€
Achievement unlocked! Made Masters in Draft in Eternal Card Game with like 20 minutes to spare. Drafted a rather aggressive Argenport deck to try to win quickly, and won my first three games in like 35 minutes. Pretty happy, since I finally put in the time to achieve, this month.
My first forays into the new Eternal Card Game Draft format haven't been as enjoyable as the prior one for me, so far. But I got my first 7-win run in this card pool with this Feln deck, and barely squeaked into Diamond before the monthly reset. Even won a game via mill.
It took me like three drafts to get used to the new, full FoX format, but I got there. Tonight's 7-2 Eternal Card Game Draft deck was Rakano Oni Aggro. It was nice to be the beatdown in most of my games with this deck. Also squeaked into Gold with that last win.
Didn't play much to close out 2019, after the change to Heart of the Vault left my Even Praxis deck for Throne lacking, but have ramped up a bit this month. Here was tonight's 7-2 Eternal Card Game Draft deck. First draft run in months. TPj tempo with some solid Muster & Inspire.
I am pretty atrocious at the new Echoes of Eternity Draft format in Eternal Card Game so far. But I finally managed to get a winning run in. 7-2 with SPF Spell Damage & Flyers.
@PucaTrade Joshua Thompson Hey gang, it appears that we don't have a foil version of OD Mountain #343 in the database. bit.ly/1NiuN3Z
Thanks to Jimmy Pardo and Matt Belknap for being bad businessmen! Getting caught up on years of Never Not Funny w/ the Primo Archive Bundle.
Respect to Matt Belknap for bringing the funny in the MVMT ad on this week's Never Not Funny episode. Not often I rewind an ad. π
Came in ahead of schedule on my challenge for 2017. It took me 349 days to listen to every episode of Never Not Funny, every Pardcast-A-Thon, and every episode of Playing Games with Jimmy Pardo released so far. Thanks to Jimmy & Matt Belknap for all of the concentrated laughter!
