These Kinder friends LOVED watching the 8th grade musical this morning!! Good Shepherd

Fifth graders have been learning how to play the baritone ukulele. We’ve focused on chords G, Em, C, Am and D.

It was Christmastime in chapel today with Ms. Rambin as we sang Christmas songs together!

Just some of our sweet MS choir students after our Spring concert today. I’ve loved teaching them and can’t wait to see them all continue to grow!

Annual tradition with eighth grade music students and Primer! Students performed songs from Willy Wonka and the Primer Music Sharing fir each other. Then read a musical story and drew pictures together ❤️ @chackney_gses

Fifth graders learned how to use four ukulele chords to create a chord progression and write original songs in small groups based on the theme ‘summer.’ They performed their compositions for their classes! So fun!

Seventh grade is learning about the 12 bar blues. Playing with common rhythms on the hi-hat, piano chords and ukuleles.

My last class with my eighth graders today. What an amazing group of students. Grateful ❤️

Loved playing recorder pieces with eighth grader Payton Elder during Eucharist today. He arranged a Bach Chorale for us to play - truly gifted musician!

Had a great day on the fifth grade retreat at To Be Like Me where we spent time interacting with people who shared about their disabilities and then doing a service project with Dallas Shared Ministries. Plus lunch at a beautiful park!
