Ten years ago, I announced my support for marriage equality. We’ve made great progress since then, but the hateful bills Republicans have passed in state houses targeting the LGBTQI+ community show we have so much further to go. We can't rest until we achieve full equality.

We need to be concerned. Many 'rights' are not stated in constitution- interracial marriage, home/land ownership, freedom to do most stuff we do. Don't forget when the constitution written, women & POC had NO rights. It was not written to protect any of us. #SCOTUS #constitution

I thought when kids left the house that our home would feel bigger. With 2 of 3 in college, it was the opposite: the house felt smaller, with unused rooms and fewer shoes left in random places. As they return for holidays, the house seems bigger again, fuller. Shoes everywhere!🎄
