Suella Braverman repeatedly falsely claims that those arriving by small boats are doing so "illegally". Under international conventions the UK is signed up to, refugees are entitled to seek refuge, regardless of how they arrived.

I applaud Gary Lineker for his compassion and support for vulnerable people, particularly refugees. Thank you, Gary.
