Afghan Australians are protesting that the Australian Government has left their families to be killed by the Taliban. Tradies are protesting in Melbourne today not being able to use their tea rooms. Privilege at its worst. We don’t get how lucky we are in this country.

What a time to be Australian. The Premier of our 3rd most populous state can’t understand that in our multicultural society people have family overseas. Or that as a trading nation we do business with others. People don’t just travel for leisure and for piss-ups in Bali, Premier

Here's my hot take: govts that encourage people to get vaccinated (good!) can't at the same time ignore or criticise public health advice. Like you can't say 'lets trust the drs who say vaccines are good' and also day 'we can't trust drs who say we need x restrictions'.

It's so sad that so many journalists contacted me yesterday to ask me about Djokovic. I've been in a cage for 9 years, I turn 24 today, and all you want to talk to me about is that. Pretending to care by asking me how I am and then straight away asking questions about Djokovic.

Here’s my reconciliation week challenge for non-Indigenous peeps: Think about what your aspirations for reconciliation look like… take a second. Go ‘em? Okay. Let’s go.
