It's good that Guardian Australia has now acknowledged that the October Opera House protest was neither 'violent' nor 'anti-Jewish'. But the fact those incorrect and prejudicial terms were ever used at all is a serious stain on Karen Middleton's credibility and ethics as a journalist.

Guardian Australia needs to correct this - it's a flagrant breach of the most basic journalistic standards.

Astonishing. I find this difficult to believe. Surely Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade 🇦🇺 AGD AU Defence Australia would have prepared all sorts of advice about all manner of legal consequences for what is going on in Gaza. The government has been put on notice by many, that’s certain.
