There have been some key updates to SMS and Cadet Portal enabling all members of the organisation to record their gender identity, pronouns and title. This is an important change to the system, to recognise and value the diversity across the RAF Air Cadets @RAFAC_Aspire

#RAFACMuster concluded yesterday with a sunset ceremony, this was led by members of Wales & West Region Ceremonial Flight. With only a few hours rehearsal they delivered a parade of the highest quality for the reviewing officer, Air Chief Marshall Sir Mike Wigston KCB CBE.

August saw Summer Camp at RAF Valley along with No 1 Welsh Wing and No. 3 Welsh Wing ATC - great to be accompanied by Jess Forde for her first camp as a CFAV too!

Finally, September saw the RAF Air Cadets Muster at RAF Cosford as well as a training weekend for the Wales & West Region Ceremonial Flight - great to get back to ‘normality’!

20 hours of practice leading to 6 performances, including a VIP display for @AOC22Group who spent time talking to the cadets, even got a group selfie! I am immensely proud of what the cadets achieved today,y thanks to my staff team for the excellent training and support!
