I'm looking forward to hearing Lars Bergstrom of @google talking about Android on RISC-V at the RISC-V International EU Summit. ASOP with compilers system libraries and emulator (cuttlefish) is now available as open source.
We are grateful for the rapidly expanding OpenHW ecosystem that made this innovative CORE-V DevKit for IoT developers possible. Amazon Web Services Ashling FreeRTOS Embecosm GroupGets GlobalFoundries Full announcement & order information: tinyurl.com/bdd5xwyt
Joining PPI and @prognrit at The Labour Party with MPs Liz Kendall and Siobhain McDonagh - let’s hope the value of #opensource and #openai will be recognised in their Manifesto and that they leverage the value of the UK’s open source community
I'm at FOSDEM @[email protected] again. A chance to get away and hear new ideas. I'm sitting in a packed Rust devroom, listening to the first talk on semantic versioning fosdem.org/2024/schedule/… . Who would have thought it was so hard. 1 in 6 of the top 1,000 crates has had a semver violation.
The calibre of speakers at FOSDEM @[email protected] is always excellent. I'm now listening to a session on the Cyber Resilience Act. fosdem.org/2024/schedule/…. The presentation introducing the session is by Benjamin Bögel. Sector Head and one of the authors of the CRA.
My last talk of the day FOSDEM @[email protected] . Pedro Alves on a near impossible task: GDB on Windows. If anyone can get this working, it's Pedro!
Dave Malcolm gives the first talk at the inaugural FOSDEM @[email protected] GCC devroom. GCC for new contributors fosdem.org/2024/schedule/… The big picture of how to contribute to GCC - GNU Toolchain. I'll be following with my talk on how to add a new backend fosdem.org/2024/schedule/….
Jeremy Bennett FOSDEM @[email protected] GCC - GNU Toolchain What if you build a new chip about the compiler? How to build the compiler? Jeremy Bennett of Embecosm is running us trough it in a packed 25min talk, including #RISCV Embecosm already ported and in progress of upstreaming GCC for @openhwgroup #CV32E40Pv2 #fosdem24
Jeremy Bennett FOSDEM @[email protected] GCC - GNU Toolchain Embecosm @openhwgroup I couldn't follow, I thought I'm stupid, turns out Jeremy Bennett packed 5 days of a 3minths training course into 25min. XD I definitely need to hire Embecosm if I need a compiler. #gcc #compiler #FOSDEM24 #fosdem2024 #vector #riscvvector #riscveverywhere #riscv #openhw
I'm at the TechWorks - The UK's Deep Tech Hub AI Launchpad event Bletchley Park. My Embecosm colleague William Jones has been leading their best practice initiative for the past two years and will be speaking later today.
The afternoon of the TechWorks - The UK's Deep Tech Hub AI Launchpad turns to the practical details. First up is Nick Allott of NquiringMinds, introducing the concept of a TAIBOM. A practical way to deliver trustworthy AI for real projects.
