#OnThisDay in 1945, this Enigma K was was recovered by US naval officers in Northern Italy. Records show that this particular machine was used by the staff of Mussolini, the Italian Prime Minister.

Today is #NationalTeaDay ! Alan Turing was rumoured to chain his mug to a radiator in his office to keep it from getting stolen or used by other codebreakers at Bletchley Park!
You can visit his set dressed office in Hut 8, complete with a replica of the mug!
