“Unfortunately, Jehovah’s Witness elders are not permitted to directly notify law enforcement... O’Donnell says. “This effectively handcuffs local elders and hinders the police from protecting the public...from Witness predators.” spokesman.com/stories/2022/o…

Ijustgotnotified I won the GOLD best book award for the graphic novel/ comic award of 2022. I been invited to their red carpet event in 2023 to receive my HUGE recognition. I cried because many women exJW artist & authors have been rooting me on for the message. #WomenHaveAvoice

I've asked this question on a few FB sites and have never received a reply. Have any former elders, who previously participated in disfellowshipping, ever reached out to their victims to help them heal?

Has anyone who was disfellowshipped ever been approached by a former JW elder to apologize or begin a conversation? I never was, but it was 50 years ago and I moved away and at my age they are likely dead.

Before I turn on the oven to make pumpkins pies and Oysters Rockefeller casserole, my husband's favorite, today, I want to truly thank everyone who spends their time and energy and emotions and information tweeting or twittering to help others. I am thankfully overwhelmed. 🌸
