New master dice! These are pretty much the same as my old ones but with some tweaks. Here are some images of what each stage looks like to get the final result. Thank you thebluemimic for making me this lovely set of dice! #dice #dnd #polyhedraldice #resindice #ttrpg

Hello! I've written a bunch of tutorials for #Unity3D's #shadergraph, for the Universal RP (previously known as the Lightweight RP). They are all listed nicely here : 🔗 cyangamedev.wordpress.com/contents (Retweets appreciated!) ❤️✨

Skyrim turns 10 this week, and I'm taking the excuse to write a thread I've been meaning to do for a while. Let's talk about critters. 🧵

Let's talk about critters.

Deeply subjective, but this duality is why critters struck me as a spark of unscripted genius, and why I think they resonated so well with players. So I've always been proud of my bit in making them happen. But again: that's artsy-fartsy. Let's talk about the technical side.

Why not upgrade sooner than Skyrim? The argument came down to something we'll call "time to parity". That is: how long will it take to implement a new language AND, crucially, before users can achieve the same results in it that they're currently capable of with the old tech?

Part 3: Model Crittizens What designers needed was an aspirational example - something that would never have been possible in the old system. Not only would it prove the value of the tech - it'd inspire the team to dream bigger than boxes we were used to working in.
