Horseshoe crabs are back! For millions of years, these enigmatic creatures have come to our shores to mate. Since 2013, NYC Parks has been monitoring their spawning activity. Help contribute to this research by registering for monitoring events here:  on.nyc.gov/3HnRX9P

⛱ Rockaway Beach is officially open for the summer! ☀️ We join New Yorkers in their excitement to swim in the ocean, enjoy the boardwalk concessions, and take in the sun and sand. During beach season, lifeguards are on duty daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy the beach!
