Another day, another victory for Corona Plaza!

Thank you to Flagstar Bank for your $100,000 grant to Queens EDC, which will pay for on-site, Spanish-language digital literacy classes here at the plaza to help our vendors grow their businesses.

The work continues.

We're hosting a Virtual Parent Advisory Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 30.

Our topic will be ending of COVID-era federal stimulus funding for schools, and we'll hear from the city's Independent Budget Office.

I've toured Rikers Island multiple times since becoming BP to see the jail for myself. While I appreciate the progress I saw when I visited this month, the systemic inhumanity there is too great to simply rehabilitate.
