A very useful skill I learned over the last 3yrs is to stop jumping to conclusions. A few tips: 1. Probabilistic thinking: Almost nothing is true/false, just likely/unlikely. 2. Don't delegate your thinking to others. 3. Benefit of the doubt to what's been around a long time.
