Educators, after one week of remote learning with my own kids, my reflections are: Slow down; ease up on the number of daily messages/updates (it’s tough to keep up); slim-down workload; be patient; STOP using grades as a threat. Show grace and flexibility.

It had been 158 days since we were last together in the same room. Lots of hard work, difficult discussions, and challenging days by all led up to today. One thing was clear to me when we parted; no matter what the year brings, this team is ready for anything thrown its way.
