The UCP government would rather fight than win. Unfortunately, it’s Calgarians who are losing out.

#yyccc handed Calgary to the UCP by ramming through the arena deal during the election. Any councillor who legitimately believes in the Green Line could move to suspend arena construction, or withdraw City funding, until achieving "clarity" with the Province. They won't.

Alberta now has the lowest per student funding in the country. The solution to that problem is definitely not making parents sign 20 more sex ed consent forms. UCP logic is truly baffling. #AbLeg

Go to one of Donald Trump’s rallies. He talks about Hannibal Lecter, windmills causing cancer—and you will even notice people leaving early out of boredom. The one thing you will not hear him talk about is you.

Kamala, very calm and cool, looked trump in the face, told him the world was laughing at him, and that he was confused and lacked the temperament. trump is COOKED.

Important part of transit is moving people where they're from, to where they need to go. Avoiding downtown, going around it, or stopping at an arena that is only active for a few hours for a limited number of days per year is not good transit. #yyc #yyccc #ableg #abpoli

I see no reason why we should keep an open mind about the Nose Creek corridor as an option for Green Line north. Transit works when it is convenient and accessible. The Nose Creek corridor is none of those things.

Greg Miller This also might backfire electorally, the expensive tunnel in the Beltline was not part of the original plan. The plan called for a surface train, lane reductions, the removal of street parking, and slower commutes for car drivers. Drivers demanded the tunnel at consultations.

As an Albertan parent I request the freedom to choose whether my taxes fund any separate schools, Catholic or charter outside the government funded, open to all public system. (They’d receive private tuition and govt support by tax tick box choice). That is a VERY reasonable ask.

Retirement security is a cornerstone of a decent society that rewards hard work with dignity in our later years. Unions fight for that security, and they deliver it. A better Canada is possible for everyone when we all work together.
