A goal of any analyst should be that they can explain their opponent's position as well as their opponent can. Actively seek to understand how other people think, steelman their views, and think through them. A lot of human interaction involves people speaking past each other.

The irony that crypto was lauded for years as a technology to rectify a lot of the credit mistakes that spiraled out of the GFC (subprime MBS), only to to replicate the same structures in crypt based lending & funds, was almost preordained.

Knowledge is pushed upon us in school, at work, and generally through life experience. Pushed learning happens out of necessity, usually slowly and sporadically. Curiosity is a magnet that pulls additional knowledge in. Switch on that magnet by indulging your curiosities.

Feeling unsteady is not a sign of instability. It's often a path to progress. Standing still feels secure, but gaining momentum to move forward requires tilt or sway. Walking is controlled falling. Being in equilibrium breeds comfort. Feeling off balance leads to growth.

The learning process isn't finished when you acquire knowledge. It's complete when you consistently apply that knowledge. Many people accumulate information. Far fewer use it to evolve and improve. The ultimate test of growth is closing the gap between awareness and action.

No relationship is perfect. There will always be some elements that would be better if you were with a different kind of person. But the positives should significantly outweigh the negatives. The same logic can be applied to careers.

Never trust a person or a team. Trust data and information, while tirelessly questioning whether they are objective and truthfully representative.
