Realised it is 20 years ago this week that I moved to Yorkshire to join The Yorkshire Post (thanks Nicola Furbisher John Furbisher). Was supposed to be a short stay but two decades have passed in the blink of an eye and now I can't imagine being anywhere else.

Rob Burrow. Incredible.

Rob Burrow is the reason I’m a rugby league fan. I’d watched the odd game but in 2011 I was invited to the Grand Final and saw Rob score THAT try. I was hooked. Lots will rightly be said how he courageously faced his illness. Let’s not forget he was a bloody good rugby player.

Thanks to a sub-Dalton line decision by shadowy league figures my favourite podcast has ended. The Sunday night recap was one of the best reasons to get up on Monday. The episode after Wess died was exceptionally moving. Thanks Gregg Rosenthal Dan Hanzus Marc Sessler
