The idea that the UK will be spared Trump's tariffs is over. First steel and aluminium, and now cars. The govt must accept that this is an economic emergency, ditch its self-imposed red lines, and start talks on a new UK-EU customs union immediately. theguardian.com/us-news/2025/m…
