About time! Good announcement today that police guilty of gross misconduct will automatically be dismissed. But do police disciplinary processes always find gross misconduct when everyone else would, for instance when officers abuse women?

A step in the right direction. Survivors deserve to report abuse knowing they’re not speaking to someone guilty of gross misconduct. Trust in policing can’t begin until those unfit to serve are removed.
