I had fun thinking about the state of education with our team and coming up with our predictions for (social studies) education in 2025. What did we miss? Where do you agree?

Historical thinking is empowering; but, it's is humbling, too. When we think historically, we are empowered to enter into conversations about complex ideas. But, we also know our limits. We empathize with who we study. We rely on evidence over our own opinion. We're humbled.

I just finished MLK's Letter from Birmingham Jail, finished while Trump was sworn in. So much to unpack in that timing.
