‘Learn from your mistakes’ is a saying that annoys me. How about learning from others’ mistakes or, even better, figuring things out & getting them right? The govt. says it has lessons to learn from its catastrophic incompetence. Bollocks. The information was all out there.

The Govt is just telling people what it thinks they want to hear. It is making a range of mutually incompatible promises, and is relying on the fact that most people simply won't notice, or care about, the detail. 2/10

A fascinating report on BBC news that honey bees will adopt social distancing when threatened by parasites that risk the hive. Am I to conclude from this, that honey bees have a greater intellect, both individually & collectively, than the cabinet including our PM & HealthSec?

Not the first time we've read of this tactic. If true, and provable, I expect we'd bring a private prosecution. It feels to me like a serious misuse of public money for party political purposes - criminality now embedded into how this Government operates. on.ft.com/3BHbPkw.

We’ve spent five years pointing out, sometimes calmly, sometimes kindly, sometimes neither, that whatever you think you voted for was & is never going to happen. It might be helpful if you started attacking the people who lied to you instead of the people who told you the truth.

Can they do this with Government Ministers? Or will they try to rely on what Michael Gove does of a morning interview? - Scientists bring dead eyes back to life - The Telegraph apple.news/A-UV9Q0lwTeORo…

Brass neck. Most were aware, just not the ones that actuality voted for what was promised in Brexit. Even many that voted for it did so because they were lied to about what it was and it’s implications. What’s happening is closer to what was dismissed as Project fear?

Oh dear Michelle, that was the last memo you’re repeating, and it’s still tosh.. No big calls right, by you or the PM.. Johnson didn’t, and won’t help the economy, cost of living, or Ukraine. Manifesto commitments treated as disposable anyway, but mostly the wrong ones..

18/ The use of social media, showing off Russian deficiencies, has magnified this moral corrosion. The corrosion in morale has resulted in declining battlefield discipline, with Russian desertions, battlefield refusals and – horribly – frequent war crimes.

.Elon Musk is attacking our board one by one. First Garry Kasparov; now Alexander S. Vindman 🇺🇸. The thing they both have in common: bravery & a desire to do the right thing. We’re proud to stand by them & hope Elon goes after dictators with the same zeal he has for RDI board members.

As a relatively tall person I hate wearing trousers that are too short as I grew out of them so quickly for periods as I child so err on being too long. I suspect the opposite influence here, but find sympathy difficult.

Please sign and share! While this has no legal power to compel, it has the power to embarrass a PM who is going around telling interviews "nobody wants a general election". I do. Don't you? petition.parliament.uk/petitions/6419…
