During the ADA field visit, the AustrianDev Gender Advisor, Ms Corinna Proll & ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬 Head of Cooperation Dr. Katja Yvonne Kerschbaumer interfaced with Uganda Police at Central Police Station in Gulu to appreciate the gender issues relating to #SGBV response & other human rights aspects.

The ADA mission team also made a visit to Gulu Women’s Prison to interact with the Prison Service staff, women prisoners & partners implementing the ADA phase II programme. Timely access to #Justice remain an important priority to push forward with the justice sector actors.

Today Hon Sarah Mateke, State Minister for Youth & Children Affairs paid a courtesy call on UNFPA Uganda Country Rep Mary Otieno. They discussed ways to accelerate the achievement of the #DD by addressing #TeenagePregnancy, #Childmarriage, #FamilyPlanning & #Youth development.
