Bigots who’ve built entire careers inciting precisely the evil we’re witnessing did not ‘warn’ of it. The only honest ‘warnings’ came from people who explained what would happen if we kept giving racist liars newspaper columns, TV & radio slots & season tickets for Question Time.

Yes, I've seen. I think it's really simple. If he's carrying in response to a perceived threat, and his argument is defensive weaponry, he still gets nicked. Why? We have Police to protect the community, not vigilantes. So I couldn't give a monkeys whether they are white,

Elon, forgive me, but there is no excuse for being such an utter berk about this. I’m white and a Christian. No one is chucking bricks at my church or telling me to go back to where I come from. I’m concerned about attacks on the communities that are actually *being* attacked.

It's pretty obvious that Elon Musk exercises immense power and uses it with complete irresponsibility. He is accountable to no one, it seems. We need to think seriously about how we as a country respond

We can’t quit on Twitter. We can’t let the horrid, vile, oppressive voices be the loudest. I can’t have suffered all the racism and abuse I have for us to just leave and let them snarl in victory. We keep strong. Stay together and keep spreading love and positivity.

Since we need some common endeavours to unify us I would like to propose us all coming together to tell American gobsh*tes and clickbait merchants to keep noses out of our politics

Violence and rioting, attacking completely unrelated vehicles and buildings, is indefensible whoever is doing it, and the “you started it” defence is completely unacceptable. The exact same [wrong and unacceptable] defence could be made of the thugs burning libraries.

At the EEF we make a habit of consulting those working in schools and settings... experts of practice. If you're one of these, and interested in helping us provide best support to the education system, please reach out.

If a law has been broken, a person can be arrested. Given that we don't know what was published by this person, its a bit ahead of the justice system to assume the police are making an arrest without reasonable evidence. For someone with millions of followers its irresponsible.
