Had FLOW in my department all night last night AND receptive and friendly specialty teams from across my own hospital and the wider region. Sick patients identified and went where they needed to, quickly, after appropriate emergency care. My god, what a time to be alive 😍#teamED

Grateful to BBC London for focusing this week on knife violence in children and young people. Across the London Trauma System System we easily see 3000+ stabbings every year, the majority in young people. We do a huge amount to try to rescue these people from the situation
