There’s something a bit baffling about a patient in hospital with covid who is unvaccinated because “I don’t believe in modern medicine”, but wants to be for full escalation and ITU. Do they think ITU treatment is based on the four humours and healing crystals?

Nursing pay has been held below inflation for years and the #CostOfLiving crisis has only worsened the impact of longstanding low pay. #FairPayForNursing is critical for the profession and the public's safety - RT if you agree that the upcoming NHS pay award must address this.

ICU end of life care is respectful, dignified and absolutely NEVER involves patients suffocating. The care provided to the patient and the family is the absolute opposite of barbaric. The press should be ashamed. My utter respect to the nursing and medical staff involved.

With the nurses going on strike tomorrow I am posting this without comment.
