While we suffer huge food price inflation, higher bills, queues, red tape, polluted rivers, public sector strikes, loss of rights and protections… the Tories are enabling tidy personal profits, investing in the EU, laughing at us and lying about it all. The Brexit endgame.

Rishi Sunak’s childcare shares row exposes the Tories’ obsession with bypassing the state. His personal lack of transparency is one thing. But the flawed *policy* is what really matters in this whole affair. Tonight's #WaughOnPolitics: inews.co.uk/opinion/rishi-…

Inflation remains above 10% - symbolically disappointing for those trying to bring it down. And in reality, utterly crushing for many families when it’s many basics that are still soaring in cost. Food prices rose by at 19.1%, - their fastest rate in 45 years.

Tory Ben Houchen is blocking everyone who tweets this article from Private Eye Magazine - as though he imagines covering his eyes will make it vanish. Why though isn't BBC News (UK), the Mail+ covering it? Do they share the same political stance?

And “his belief in the correctness of his view is genuinely held” is how to say, politely, “Dominic Raab is an unrepentant, recalcitrant, arrogant scrotum”.

This is interesting. Because when Ms Morrissey decided she could tell the Chief Medical Officer how to do his job, and was slapped down by PM Johnson - her then boss - she just doubled down on her comments and complained of being picked on. 🤔

A wealth tax on the top 1% would raise £350 billion per parliamentary cycle. We should fix our NHS, pay public sector workers, build wind farms and solar farms to introduce clean cheap energy. We should scrap tuition fees and abolish student debt & build a million council homes.
