P3s had a great time yesterday at the National Museum of Rural Life National Museums Scotland. We learned how to make butter, met some of the animals and loved exploring the exhibitions!

This week in P2b we have been learning about dyslexia. We learned that being dyslexic just means your brain learns things in a different way. We challenged ourselves to learn our letters in a different way. We had lots of fun! #DAWScott22

For Dyslexia Awareness week, p3 have been focussing on understanding syllables and rhyme. We have explored their use in poetry and discussed how they can be used to help with spelling.

Primary 3 had a lovely afternoon, sharing their learning with parents and carers for Scottish Book Week. 📖

P4b had a great trip to the City Art Centre Edinburgh Museums today - we saw the Ron O'Donnell Photography exhibition, learnt to use a 'viewfinder' to make collages and enjoyed finding places we recognised in Paul Duke's photos of Muirhouse. Thanks Hannah and the Team!
