The Government claims credit for £63 billion of this month's Investment Summit, despite 80% of it already being in motion before they came to power. Transparency matters - let's be honest about what’s new and what’s not. Full debate here: parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/af…

It’s fast becoming obvious that the only working people The Labour Party are interested in serving are those in the public sector - in fact it should change its name to the Public Sector Party #Budget2024

I find this statement absolutely extraordinary given Lambeth Council certainly must know Kaba was a “core member” of what police call “the highest harm street gang in Lambeth”. Are there any statements for any of the Lambeth victims of 67’s tide of violence?

This is the statement of the statutory agency that will now be considering whether the officer, added here as an afterthought, is guilty of gross misconduct. They are manifestly unfit for purpose.

If Rachel Reeves exempts public sector pensions from a Budget tax raid on employer pension contributions, as is being reported, then that is an extremist ideological step IMO: in effect making private citizens serfs sustaining a preferred class of state employees.

That would be the “wider community” that Kaba and his violent gang stabbed, shot, terrorised and extorted protection money from - not to mention the drug dealing Runnymede Trust

2 black people were murdered during Notting Hill Carnival. The black community weren’t reported as ‘traumatised’. There were no BLM marches by white, middle class activists. I doubt Sadiq Khan even remembers their names. They deserved more attention than a career criminal.

Turns out the public sector doesn't already receive enough perks, now they're going to be spared from the Chancellor's increased jobs tax. So much for supporting growth, turns out Rachel Reeves is going to lump the entire national insurance rise on private sector workers 🧵

This is shameless ideologically driven reporting by the BBC which fits its liberal-left agenda. Where is the evidence for a whole community traumatised by #ChrisKaba verdict

Labour said it would govern for all the UK but when push comes to shove the only people it’s on the side of are those in the public sector and their union bosses thetimes.com/article/f4ec6b…

What we’re seeing from Starmer and his top team is a complete lack of political judgment - first it was winter fuel cut, then freebies, handing over the Chagos islands and now the Trump election interference row thetimes.com/article/eb4775…
