Ukraine’s independence matters for the whole world. The international community is united in condemning Russia’s attempt to rewrite Ukraine's borders by force. Ukraine will win. We must #StandWithUkraine for as long as it takes 🇬🇧🇺🇦

50 countries joined us to call out China’s possible crimes against humanity in Xinjiang as reported by United Nations. It is the highest number of countries yet to call on China to end its abuse of Uyghur Muslims. The UK urges China to end its human rights violations.

Engagement with China means standing up for the values our country believes in.   That’s why the UK has brought together 51 countries to publicly call out China’s human rights violations in Xinjiang.   The UK cannot and will not remain silent – no matter the cost.

Unseen. Unheard. Indispensable. The keel for the first Dreadnought Class submarine has been laid at the Royal Port of Barrow today. The Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Defence Secretary John Healey were in Cumbria to see the next generation of the UK’s nuclear deterrent.

Today’s events in Jenin are unacceptable. I have spoken to our diplomats who were affected. Civilians must always be protected, and diplomats allowed to do their jobs. There must be a full investigation and those responsible should be held accountable.
