Be kind. Say thank you. Hold the door open. Compliment as many people as you can. Point out the good and be the good. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love, serve and care. The world needs more of this today!

It doesn’t matter how last season ended. Whether you went to state or didn’t come close, that’s forever in the past. Next season is a brand new beginning, a place to start fresh & build a strong, competitive team. Be very disciplined & keep moving forward. There’s no finish line!

BAD BODY LANGUAGE lets your opponents KNOW they got you on the ropes.. You can't COMPETE at your highest level when you let your emotions take over.. Stay calm in the the face of adversity 💯✊️

You really have no control over what other people are doing or saying & really, why would you care. Just concentrate on helping & serving others. Focus on those who’re important in your life, the things you can control & how you can impact others. In the end, that’ll say it all!

If you look at someone successful & think they’re just lucky or it just fell in their laps, you couldn’t be more wrong. You never know how much a person sacrificed to become who they are, but you can bet they did. It definitely isn’t easy. It never is. Success is dirty hard work!

Waiting on cage to dry. Dottie getting much deserved fur removal from Ainsley Yoakam 2024. Pork shoulder working. Today would have been my Mom’s 70th. Love you, miss you Katie Yoakam.

Leaders create environments where people crave improvement. They want to learn & work to get better. It doesn’t need to be fancy/trendy/catchy. Just engaging, positive & full of opportunity. Give them an environment where they can thrive & they will fall in love with the process!

How we define success is a source of happiness we control. 105 studies, 70k ppl globally: valuing extrinsic over intrinsic goals predicts lower well-being. Seeking fame, money, or beauty is a bottomless pit. Pursuing growth, kindness, trust, and health is a path to flourishing.

In the end we won't be measured by our bank account, sales numbers or wins and losses but by the difference we made in people's lives... and we make a difference through relationships. Love, Serve and Care more today.

Impostor syndrome is not a sign that other people are overestimating you. It's more likely that you're underestimating your potential. Confidence is often a consequence of growth, not a cause. Believing in your ability is less important than believing in your ability to improve.

Kids shouldn’t be looking for support/feedback from parents during games. When it’s not necessary for them to look for parents in the stands to get validation, it shows their maturity level is improving. Encourage them to rely on themselves & focus on competing & being present!

Life isn’t fair. Everyone fails. Everyone falls. Things don’t always go your way & life doesn’t hand out participation awards. But it does give you opportunities to keep going until you get it right. Don’t whine or complain. Don’t give up. Just get back up & keep getting back up!

There is a cost to lead. True leaders are willing to pay the price: sacrifice self-interest and put their Cause ahead of themselves.
