You really have no control over what other people are doing or saying & really, why would you care. Just concentrate on helping & serving others. Focus on those who’re important in your life, the things you can control & how you can impact others. In the end, that’ll say it all!

If you look at someone successful & think they’re just lucky or it just fell in their laps, you couldn’t be more wrong. You never know how much a person sacrificed to become who they are, but you can bet they did. It definitely isn’t easy. It never is. Success is dirty hard work!

Kids shouldn’t be looking for support/feedback from parents during games. When it’s not necessary for them to look for parents in the stands to get validation, it shows their maturity level is improving. Encourage them to rely on themselves & focus on competing & being present!

Life isn’t fair. Everyone fails. Everyone falls. Things don’t always go your way & life doesn’t hand out participation awards. But it does give you opportunities to keep going until you get it right. Don’t whine or complain. Don’t give up. Just get back up & keep getting back up!
