Hanako sighed before she closed the book she was reading. “There goes our peace..”

“Ozric..So /wonderful/ to see you. I see you’re still going on about the bloodline. It’s been 200 years, seriously..”

“Yeah, that’s just because I don’t respect you. Not after you attacked my family.”

“Leave my children and their families out of this. It’s not their fault you’re upset with your son and I.”

“You’re mad at them for existing. So that sounds more like a you issue.”

“It’s not my fault your son has good taste. I don’t even know why you’re mad. Those children got nothing from me besides maybe my sarcasm.”

“You don’t know many mortals do you? Some are like that. But a lot of them are happily in love with one person. Humans can mate for life too.”

“Compared to how many humans there are, the Slayers take up a small percentage. Those to frequent guilds tend to see more of them.”

“You call it pointless bickering but I haven’t seen you in nearly 200 years. So this has just been building.”

Hanako had amused herself enough. “Mhm.” She had a small smile on her face before she turned to head back to the library. “I’ll see you around.”
