Treasury Committee The time for talking now needs to stop. Everyone knows HM Treasury have made a mess of this and now it’s time to do the right thing and admit that they got it wrong. Funnily enough the 3 million #ExcludedUK just want to get on with their lives.

Pleased that the APPG Gaps in Covid-19 Financial Support was able to secure a win for the #newlyselfemployed in the budget. But HM Treasury MUST get the facts straight. This inclusion will help just 151,000 of the 3 million excluded - not 600,000 as they claim. This is but a drop in a vast ocean.

According to the docs SEISS 4 will be claimable from late April. That will be a blow for many of the self-employed who are desperate for the money now - and relatively is much later in the schedule than previous grants. I am awaiting confirmation and hope I'm wrong #budget21
