We rarely found #seabirds with partly coloured feathers due to #leucism or bad conditions during feather growth. However this year we already found 3 Bulwer's #petrels from #MontañaClara #CanaryIs with a white rectrice. Just chance or an indication of bad conditions last winter?

This season in #MontañaClara we found again a #CapeVerde #shearwater hanging around with other Cory's shearwater floaters and tracked it with a GPS!! The bird returned and gifted us with this cool foraging trip after 12 days of deployment☺️Congratulations Montaña Clara team! 👏💪
