Congratulations to Suffolk staff member Janet Humphrey – awarded British Empire Medal for 40 years service for her police officer work supporting women out of prostitution, volunteering for Martlesham youth football, her work for NARPO and fundraiser for Cancer Support Suffolk.

This is an appeal re the unexpected death whilst on duty of Met PC Michael Bruce. As can be seen from the appeal, PC Bruce was a hugely popular and respected officer and leaves a ten year-old son. RIP Michael and thank you. So much tragedy within the police family recently.
