It was so great to meet the team behind the Wild Walls Festival on Friday! Wild Walls is a month-long street art programme in Ipswich, with loads to see and do - we'll be home to the biggest mural in the East of England too! Check it out: wildwallsfestival.com

This view no longer exists... the diverse scrub habitats and dune grasslands here at Sizewell have been largely destroyed in the last year. The beautiful Suffolk coast will be permanently damaged, and the rate of erosion will accelerate thanks to the disastrous impact of SZC!

1/ 🧵 Aneurin Bevan, born on this day in 1897. As Labour's Minister of Health and Housing, 1945-51, he built 805,000 council houses whilst insisting on high standards: homes were one-third bigger than the pre-war average, a three-bed home had two inside toilets.

Last month, we welcomed a wonderful group of volunteer crocheters to Christchurch Mansion. Together, we created this fabulous Christmas tree made entirely of crocheted squares! It was a brilliant opportunity to get together, chat, and enjoy crafting in such a beautiful setting.

This is an appeal re the unexpected death whilst on duty of Met PC Michael Bruce. As can be seen from the appeal, PC Bruce was a hugely popular and respected officer and leaves a ten year-old son. RIP Michael and thank you. So much tragedy within the police family recently.
