Through being our authentic selves we are able to “identify with that of the other” (gender, race, culture, human, ect...) to increase equity for all.

White teachers: When we engage students in learning about racism, we must move, not at the pace of those most resistant to racial justice, but at the pace of the those most committed to and desperate for racial justice. Don't make this a conversation about celebrating diversity.

As a 40 year old white male, I cannot YET identify with what black and brown students, parents, and colleagues experience on a daily basis. Thanks to truths like this, we can all begin to identify with “that of the other” and change ignorance into the reality that it really is.

I would love to see how MLB teams would honor #BLM! I think it could provide many opportunities to come together. I hope that we see more of this moving forward. #unity
