Finally after 10+ dips I have finally been able to connect with a rosy starling with this bird at monkton heathland on Saturday that took a couple hours of searching before showing in a garden tree RareBirdAlertUK Free Rare Bird News, UK 🇬🇧 BirdGuides Somerset Wildlife Trust #BirdsSeenIn2025

A few really nice yellow legged gulls from around Grau-du-Roi a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately didn’t see the rosy starling that had been in the area for a bit but was quite busy. #BirdsSeenIn2025 BirdGuides

The spotted Sandpiper Grafham Water SC showed incredibly well first light along the Damn wall. A UK tick for us and the start of a great day birding with a great company. #BirdsSeenIn2025 RareBirdAlertUK BirdGuides

Really nice to get good views of the Great Reed Warbler at Ouse fen yesterday. Bird often sang low in the reeds but would occasionally climb up and give good views Cambs Bird Club RareBirdAlertUK BirdGuides The British Nature Guide #BirdsSeenIn2025

A few other bits from Grafham on Saturday. Was nice watching the swallows and sand martins collecting nesting material along the shore. There was also a few really showy and rather vocal little ringed plovers which was another nice bonus Cambs Bird Club #BirdsSeenIn2025

What an amazing morning yesterday at Cefn Cadlan with this stunning female dotterel that just sat right in front of me. Other stuff including loads of wheatears, meadow pipits and skylarks were a nice bonus too BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK The British Nature Guide #BirdsSeenIn2025

Nice to finally see my first Ortolan bunting with this elusive bird at wykeham forest on Saturday that showed briefly a few times and gave a couple decent flight views. Also nice to see loads of swallows darting around RareBirdAlertUK BirdGuides Canon UK and Ireland #BirdsSeenIn2025
