Panel two introduces a topic near and dear to my heart (Justin L Biggi (he/they)), chaired by A.Christophilopoulou, about decolonising the museum. With presentations by Sujatha Chandrasekaran, Natasha Rao, Ashton Rodgers & MultakaOxford. #SCS2023
After a brief break, we inaugurate Panel 3, on Antiracism, asking important & valuable questions about the state of academia right now. Chaired by Tulsi Parikh, with a brief opening statement from @ZenaKamash and talks by Charles Ro and Domnhall Crystal. #ICI2023
Session 4 chaired by Dr. Debby Sneed on disability features important discussions on lived experience by Katerina Velentza, non-normative spatial experiences with Max Myers, and disability narratives in museums with Dr. Alexandra F. Morris. #ICI2023
Day 2 has started! At the British Museum this morning, followed by Institute of Classical Studies (ICS) this afternoon. All afternoon sessions will be live streamed for those who can't join in person #ICI2023

We are excited for our 3rd (and sadly, last!) day of #ICI2023 Our first panel is about public art & archaeology, with talks by David Tootill London School of Mosaic, Andrew J Roberts on public engagement, Ersin Hussein on Cypriot-Welsh heritage and Alison Hadfield on wellbeing & collections.
And to finish this wonderful conference, a roundtable discussion featuring @SamAgbamu, Peter Swallow MP and Ashley Chhibber, about Classical material culture teaching in schools, the importance of access & outreach. #ICI2023
