Every meaningful skill I've built started with feeling slow, stupid, or out of my league. If it feels 100% smooth, you're probably not building anything worthwhile.

The only solution to brain rot is to read books. Not tweets, not videos, not short form content, just reading a book. Even if it’s 10 pages a day.

Really cool tidbit in the Figma IPO: It's reclusive co-founder, Evan Wallace, gave away shares worth $442m to charity — making a nonprofit the largest selling shareholder in this deal:

If you’re early in your career, think harder about how to make life friction‑free for the people you ask for help Prepare questions before hopping on a meeting, write succinct emails, reply fast You wouldn't believe how few people do this

If I were giving one piece of advice to 20 year olds, it would be to never delay anything If you want to go be something, go be it Anything you want to do should be done within a year. Don't invent steps in between Lot of people live their whole lives "about to" do something

There’s at least one person who needs to hear it today: Your life matters. I’ve had my fights with mental health, so I know what it’s like—but stay in the game.

Must-read piece on the evils of the Luigi era. It is not normal to celebrate the murder of a mother of young children racing out of her office at rush hour to head home.

Figma is a perfect reminder during a frenetic time in tech that going from 0 to $100m ARR in 18 months isn't the norm & great outcomes usually take decades.

I want to take care of my parents & friends, see my dreams come true and hopefully help others with their dreams. That's all I have in mind rn.

I'm excited to announce that Lift Off Grant has funded over 20 projects in just a few months since inception. This is a personal project I've been very happy to undertake, and I've been blown away with the amazing initiatives young people around the world are working on: 🚀

They say ideas are easy/worthless, and execution is everything. But you can observe 1000s of people on this site, hustling and executing against weak ideas, getting nowhere, sometimes for years. So, great ideas are not easy and not worthless.

Looks like a lot of groups are getting their wake up call. Who knew a picture of Harvard educated (and Stanford) individuals having dinner in San Francisco would get racists up in arms.

When people ask me if I am not bothered by racism in Europe as opposed to being in Nigeria, I remind them that in that country I can be called a foreigner. I was already a minority in Nigeria. I faced far more direct, rabid discrimination in Nigeria than I face racism in Europe.
