We are the stock we are investing in.

We pay in time.

We get paid in skills.

We buy more stock everyday and can never sell.

And whether our stock rises or falls depends on how much time we pay for the skills we get.

Putting a lot of energy into a project, having big expectations, only to have it fail, is gut wrenching.

It’s also what everyday of entrepreneurship is like.

Losing always sucks. It always stings and never dulls.

You just get better at compressing the time between when you lose and when you try again.

Whereas most people, never try again at all.

The best entrepreneurs have the strongest 'shake it off and try again' muscles.

They get the most repetitions on the way to figuring it out.

The best way to retain a customer is to sell them something else.

The moments that change your life are the moments that push you to the edge.

The moments where you find out what you’re made of and how hard you can truly work.

Every new domain I enter, I keep digging to find the secret to success until I eventually discover it’s just a shitload of work..as always.

Then my bar gets reset for how much “a lot of work” is in the new domain.

Then, I work way more.

Then everything gets better really fast.

If you wanna win big, you’re not gonna have it all:

End later
Work weekends
Skip beers w the boys
Miss a dance recital

Everything has a price.

You make a trade.

The thing you want less for the thing you want most.

Only you can pick which trade to make.

If you’re tired of being out of shape realize how lame it is that you literally suffer because you can’t control what you put in your mouth.

Like a baby.

Netflix, door dash, and true crime podcasts have stolen more dreams than failure ever will.

I would like to go on record saying that remembering someone’s “special dates” has absolutely nothing to do with how much you like them.

The whole “must be nice” saying is a lie.

Anyone who’s ahead of you works like they’re coming from behind, because they are.

They’re just working double time behind someone even bigger.

Meal 1: 42g protein shake + 21g protein bar.
480 cals

Meal 2 & 3: 1lb 93/7 turkey + hot sauce. 90g protein. 800 calories (x2)

Training daily: lift & strongman cardio
