Don’t be put off by the title. This by Musa al-Gharbi is remarkable. The most-clear eyed piece on the protests I’ve seen. It neither romanticizes the protesters nor downplays their moral clarity. And it rightly excoriates Columbia, Shafik, and the economy of higher ed. Must read.
