That’s 5,300 jobs & £1.4bn for UK economy not Wales. Not a drop in the ocean & Wales stands to benefit of course. But we should have far higher ambitions for OUR assets & which WE assess. Finland industry & Gov see hydrogen as €33bn economic opp. BY 2035! h2cluster.fi/wp-content/upl…

people often claim that england subsidies wales, scotland, & northern ireland. but they don't, & here's why! #yescymru #annibyniaeth #indywales

The fallacy that Wales has a deficit of £13 billion has been described by the Wales Governance Centre and HMRC as "estimates", "assumptions" and "problematic". Llew Gruffudd writes in Nation.Cymru - nation.cymru/opinion/welsh-…

wales exports around £4bn a year worth of water to england💧 but did you know, we don't get paid for those exports? 🤔

I need to reshare this-it is beyond question that Wales has & is being shafted by Conservatives and The Labour Party on equitable rail funding/investment and has been for 30 years! Read the thread attached>>> #hs2 #barnett #wales My Jan blog on this will be updated for my "book"

HS2 has been a disaster for Wales. It’s been a disaster for England too, of course, but at least in the distant future the part of England that Westminster actually cares about will get a railway. Meanwhile Scotland & NI can plan for actually useful infrastructure investment.

Here's my local beach; it's 253 miles from London and 115 miles from our border with England, and it's owned by the Crown Estate. Is nowhere safe from the grasping, thieving hands of the English Crown?

From TODAY onwards, people in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Wales will start paying £100 MORE for electricity than Londoners! Yet, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Cymru is a NET EXPORTER of electricity! We export 50% of our production with NO benefit! Wales is being shortchanged by Westminster. We need #IndyWales! ASAP!

The 'Council of Nations and Regions' has one Scottish and one Welsh representative out of 18. This shows the ridiculousness of any scheme that treats the nations of Scotland and Wales on a par, not with England, but with individual English city-regions.

Call it the Great Welsh Train Robbery – a £4bn HS2 scandal happening in plain sight | Will Hayward theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Hain's is an entirely correct case for devolving the Crown Estate. *Everything* in the Minister's response to it is code for 'England should profit from Welsh resources'. It's bullsh*t that any Welsh Government worthy of the name should push back on strongly and confidently.

Well Will Hayward hasn't shared it yet so I will! Great to get Welsh topics out to a wider audience. I wonder if Labour will actually listen.... theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

The last Tory Government treated Wales as a colony. There is now an opportunity for Treasury and UKG to modernise its relationship with devolved national + regional Governments + put it on a proper constitutional footing starting with the a radically needs based fiscal framework

people often say that wales isn't a colony 🤔 but there are six core features of colonialism. so let's put it to the test! ❌️
