The whole of the ICBD was thrilled to see Hannah Proctor receive the award for the best student talk at the @WDSC2023 closing ceremony yesterday! Hannah's PhD is supervised by Prof Annie Hill and her talk was on identifying fungal communion distillery wooden washbacks.

Its official, Margaux Huismann has won the Eric Kneen Award for the best research paper published in the Journal of the ASBC in 2021 for our 2 papers on unfilterable sporadic haze that came out of her PhD with me at ICBD! #ASBC2023
