Just came across The Bachelor Women Tell All. The screaming over each other and encouragement of childish antics onstage tops off a season full of misogyny, gross sexual overtones and representation of women as cartoons. I know a lot of fabulous women who deserve better on tv.

Volleyball even more so than basketball is dependent on a truly collaborative effort with no player greater than the sum of the team. More athletes should focus less on how much time they spend on the court but rather how to maximize their contribution when called to play.

Congrats to a great kid! Being around Brynn is a pleasure as she is a great teammate, a hard worker and hands down one of the toughest people I know.

Anyone who works in team sports knows there is no better place to be then huddled up amongst a group of hard working & tenacious young athletes. Many of my favorite memories are just like this one where the true meaning of sportsmanship and unity occurs off the court or field.

It’s COA Volleyball Tryout Eve and I am getting excited to see some of the best athletes go hard in the gym. Eat a good dinner and get a good night’s sleep because tomorrow we have some fun!!!
